George. He was inducted into the hall of fame the other night on the CMA's. Most #1 hits was one of the reasons he made it in.

conway twitty has been around a lot longer but george is still running strong. I think george straight has a few more number one songs plus george straight wrote songs when country music was way more popular. Dont forget pure country not a bad flick.
