Does anyone except the most diehard Labour Party member really believe that a question and answer session with Gordon Brown at the conference is anything but a publicity stunt. These arranged situations could make you weep if you actually were stupid enough to believe that there was any integrity in them. Carefully selected Party members will be given questions to ask Brown (who has got all the answers) as if they were genuine queries.
Just before the Labour Party apparatchics start screaming I know the opposition parties are no better.
Point of my question is since most people nowadays see this theatre for what it is, namely a charade why do politicians keep on doing it?
