I KNOW which neighbour has been stealing my mail. I have a community mailbox down my street, and my mail slot box is right under my neighbours mail slot box. We both have the same address number, but we live on different streets so i always get his mail and I am pretty sure he always get my mail because the mailman/woman always mixes it up. I've ordered two packages worth over 350$ that had reference numbers and my postalwebsite said that someone confirmed receiving it! Twice!! I know that person has my stuff, but I don't have solid proof, what can i do??!!

I assume you don't live in America, but here it is a federal offense to steal mail. Call the local police and ask what they suggest. This person could be in biiiig trouble if it turns out to be true. Good luck.

Go talk to the Postal Inspectors. They will investigate. See about getting a more secure mailbox or shell out the money for a post office box.

You could make a joke with him. Send a letter to your common address-with your name on top- that looks like a heavy and important package. (actually u don't have to really send it,just put it into the mailbox) Inside put a letter refering to your neighbour telling him you know what is going on and will soon report him unless he gives back your mail and stop doing it. Make sure he gets that package and wait for a few days. When you see that the package is missing, ring him and talk to him.Or when you see him again stare at him like saying "I know everything" and wait for his reaction..
Good luck!

File a formal complaint with your postal office. The local Postmaster should investigate, that is a felony.Get a post office box, they are not very expensive. Then you have your own key.I had to do that because one of my friendly neighbors was stealing my medication from the Veterans hospital that was mailed.

Here is something you can do take an envelope put some cash in it with your signature on it and put it in your mail box and tell the cops about it and then if he does something of that sort you can catch him red handed. Now you know how to do this right.

Open up a Post Office Box and have all of your mail forwarded there.
The piece of mind that you get knowing that you have received all of your mail priceless.

Phone the police and ask them what they can suggest. They may be able to do something for you. Maybe they could set a trap with a parcel containing a tracking device, if nothing else works.

Go to the post office and complain about the poor service, and get a Post Office box and don't have anything sent to your street anymore.

If the Post Office has confirmed that it had a confirmed receipt then THEY have to prove it,and incidentally prove that it was your signature other wise you call the POST MASTER GENERAL'S office and let them investigate your suspicions. OK?
