When I choose either of the options the windows does not start. I do not have the Windows XP reinstallation CD. Does anyone know how I can start the Windows without the need for the Windows XP reinstallation CD?
Thanks for your help.

What exactly happens when you choose anyone of those options.
Because this happens mostly when you have a hardware problem.
Does it have an option for use the last configurations that worked or something to that effect.

Please indicate what exactly happens, does it restart or what?
If that is what is happening try getting rid of any hardware components that you may have installed.
if it still doesnt work.
Get a windows Xp cd and reinstall the software.
Good luck

try starting windows normally. this messageappers after shutting down the PC in a wrong way, after a big windows error that lead to a crash or a restart... and many others.
if this doesnt work, use the last known settings that worked.
you shouldn t need the installation disk, it normally works out ok.
that if u didn;t broke down windows for good, and that will need a full re=install.
