well i am totally against it, hundred percent. my school made us watch the video of an abortion, with ultra-sound so u cld see the baby, and even though people having abortions think they arent really killing anyone, they are. theres a live being that never asked to be conceived in the first place being killed, again, without being asked. howeve i think under certain circumstances its recomended. like if u have a certain STD or aids or any deadly, heriditary disease or are very poor and cant afford to give ur child a proper life, its better not to at all.. well yeah thats my opinion.

To me pro choice does not mean pro abortion. For years women were seeking abortions before it was legal and many were being butchered by back alley doctors in the process. Pro choice to me means that it should be available to those who choose to do it in a sterile, professional medical environment. I am not pro abortion in any way shape nor form but I do not think that women should be made into criminals if they seek it. It should only be used after intense counseling and when all other routes including adoption are ruled out. If you do away with the laws you will not do away with abortion...you will just drive it underground again.

I am a christian and biblically should be against abortion. The variety of abortions available make me ill, some should simply be abolished. However, I am pro choice. I do not feel that all people should have children and while there are means to prevent it many are not willing to do so and nothing is 100% effective. In certain circumstances(capability & medical complications) I think EARLY term abortions are best. I have worked in the field of child services and have dealt with the adoption process. It is a mess and thousands of children every year go without families often to be placed with people who end up abusing them due to the lack of parents available and the system itself. I believe it should be a womans choice. Men cannot bear children and while it may not seem fair to all, I do not believe they should have any vote publicly on the issue. I do however, believe on a personal note with their WIFE it is appropriate for them to voice whatever they wish. They have made that child together and if he does not want her to have an abortion or maybe he does, then they should discuss it and make the decision together. If they cannot agree, ultimately it should be her choice.

I am for choice for abortion. if the Christians failed there mission about "spreading" the word, passing laws will only turn people against them. if they spread the word like they are instructed to in the bible a christian would not get an abortion.

Contra... I don't see how anyone in their right mind can be in favor of murdering innocent unborn children. Sounds a bit primitive.... Generally speaking of course.

It has to be allowed, this is ridiculous, to have so many women's private matters controlled by imbecile conservatives and Christians, all of whom are uneducated by definition and choice. Like 13th century.
