according to the movie, Wolverine or Logan used to work as an assassin for stryker. dat was be4 his bones were converted to Adamantium.

originaly weapon x for the canadian government, logan was recruited by professor x to become one of the new x-men.
we also know he was a part of several other teams such as new fantastic four, an assasin alongside sabertooth, and as a child he was raised by sabertooth.
