Finite beings, in their limitations, set higher values to difficult-to-come-by objects. When one obtains one of these objects, they sometimes like to flaunt their treasure on their person so that they can show the other finite beings their treasure in hopes to envoke envy, that'll hopefully develope into some sort of "respect."
