It really depends how it was used to refer you. In my country, metrosexual usually refers to men with homosexual tendencies. Society is not used to see men doing stuff women do like having facials, applying lotions and taking care of appearances. However times are changing. Men has to take care of their appearances. In business or formal gatherings, you wont be taken seriously if you look like a nerd or smell like a dead fish. Worst women wont notice you. Besides if people accept Hollywood actors putting make up and wear latest mens fashion, why should we be different?

When ppl use the term metrosexual they are pretty much stating that either the guy cares alot about how he looks (is not just well groomed - but VERY well groomed - even if the guy is just very naturally sexy).
When ppl use the term metro sexual, it DOES NOT MEAN they are less masculin than their male counterparts. For example, look at the English or Australian Cricket players. They appear strong sexy and masculine because they're playing sport etc, but on the side they are metrosexuals (majority of them).

A "metro-sexual" is someone who spends more-than-usual amounts of time on his appearance, such as getting a manicure, fussing with his hair, clothing, shopping, lifestyle, etc. Basically, I think a "metro-sexual" is someone similar to a gay person with the exception of their sexual orientation.

I'm not trying to offend anyone here, I just looked it up and that's what I got out of what I read, so if I have offended anyone, I'm sorry, it was not my intention.

As with any thing, too much is wrong. You need water but too much and you could drown or destroy. My understanding of metro-sexuality is that this is a male who knows how to take care of himself, if not like, almost like, a woman. Contrary to popular belief men are not suppose to look rugged. Hard work and hard times usually contribute to that. Look what happens when he gets money.

Most turds frown upon metrosexuality, and they do it for good reason. They might actually think that they are good just because they look good. Metrosexuality is misleading for some people.

Gee, I don't know, is vanity and being susceptible to the marketing strategy of cosmetics companies a bad thing? Perhaps learning to think for yourself is the key.

No, there is nothing wrong with a man who cares how he looks, is clean well dressed, etc. I would take it as a compliment. I find this very sexy! Keep up the good work. God bless****

Nothing is something to frown upon. We shouldn't frown. It causes wrinkles :)

Well, what the heck is it, sexwise? If it means some sort of bisexual hanky panky goes on, well then yes, I frown upon it, though I recognize that individuals have the right to make lifestyle choices.
