I would certainly like to dispute a couple of these...

Before I do though, I would like to say 'congratulations' to the idiots that cannot understand clear english...you really made yourselves look ridiculously stupid! I suppose that not a one of you has ever really read any good philosophy, had you, you would be able to understand and appreciate the question!

Mathematically speaking, if a fraction contains a 'whole' then it is referred to as an 'improper' fraction which needs to be reduced..to a whole number plus a fraction. So therefore although a fraction most certainly can be a part of a whole..a whole cannot be a part of a fraction.

Infinite plus finite does not equal finite because in order to know what infinite plus finite equals you would have to know what infinite equalled..and the whole point of something being infinite is that we don't know a literal value for it. Infinite covers a range of values unknown, finite is a specific number. Adding an unknown to a known leaves you with another unknown. In Calculus, Infinity plus any number still equals infinity.

Of course these are both fully disputable arguments..the fact is that we cannot truly prove the existence of a fraction, a person, or anything for that matter...so is the question itself and the answer it recieves a philosophical moot point?
