How can I reqcover data from my Hard Desk if its not working?

My x hard desk sounds like something is broken inside n not working. How can I recover data from it I don't have any other backup of dat data. I've taken it to its venders and every where but every says its not possible. Any other possiblity coz my data is so important. Please help me some one..

Its very expensive, but there are some data recovery companies.
Do it only if your data is worth more than the 3 times the price of the HD

your hard desk? you mean oak, for example? just read what's been scrawled into the surface.
