I am 21 years old and I just moved here from India. My ex-fiance still lives in India. How do I tell him? Or should I tell him?

I'm sorry. You should tell him, definitely.
Good Luck!

Tell him!!! How? Well, I don't know where "here" is and how far away from India that it. But, if you can - a face to face thing would be best if you've got a trip planned back at some point anyway. But if you don't, and "here" is pretty far, then you simply have to ring him. I understand that that will be a tough thing to do, but you have to talk things out because his life is going to be effected by whatever it is you decide to do with regards to the pregnancy and/or the raising of the child. The fact that the two of you were engaged to be married and had the option to call things off (and also were intimate) leads me to assume that it wasn't an arranged situation and that also you two care for each other (or at least did at one point). So since this is a man that you once cared enough for to consider marriage with, aside from being the right thing to do, it's the kindest thing to do for his sake. Trust me, you'll be glad you did in the end. Good luck with it, and I wish you the best with how everything turns out.

Well if you were a man and your ex was pregnant wouldn't you want to know?

It is not just YOUR child. It is his as well. You may not be together anymore but at one time your love with him helped create the beautiful soul that is growing inside you.

I am in no way saying move back to India and make things work with him. But he needs to know he has a child. If he cannot make it over here then after every doctors appointment he needs to be notified what you have found out. He also should have equal say in naming the baby.

You may no longer be in a relationship together but you need to work together to give your child the best chance at life.

Good luck and Congrats!

Whether you tell him or not really depends on your situation. If you feel it is unsafe to tell him for any reason then don't tell him. Other wise, you might want to consider telling him, because raising a child as a single mom can be pretty tough and it's hard on a child to not have their father. I hope everything works out o.k. for you and your baby.

Always do the wrong thing, this is called progressive. Don't call him and have an abortion fits in nicely with this lowest common denominator existence.
Of course the right thing would be to call him and keep the child but this would be inconvenient for you.

You need to tell him. He has the right to be a father to that baby. Once you have told him about it, let him make the next move. Good luck.

by all means tell him. I mean it is his too. I am not saying this baby will fix things but maybe he will be the type of guy to be a good dad and a respectable partner ( not necessarily a spouse) to you..

You should definately tell him, it will not be fair to the baby or father if he does not know and have a chance to be apart of his babies life.
