Many reasons can be attributed to Indias pathetic performance First of all the last match was played on a fast and bouncy track. Many youngesters in the prdesent Indian team do not have international exposure in playing such fast and bouncy pitches. Even the most experienced Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid could not adjust to the condition.

Secondly, South Africa is a much stronger team as compared to India and they had also the home advantage and they have better experience in playing in fast and bouncy track.

Lastly, Indian players did n ot perform to their potential. Batemen did not take time to settle down before playing strokes and bowlers were not at all accurate and penetrativwe, the fielders were slow in their movement in the field in picking up and throwing the balls.
