For hill stations ooty,kodai,munnar,darjeeling,kulu manali,shimla etc
For backwaterstuff,boating ,kerala wud be best
entire kerala wiil be nice to see
for temples,u must come to Tamilnadu

Heck, staying in India i've been visiting as many places as i can whenever i find the time. The place is too vast and all the places i've visited are equally beautiful. Each place has an atmosphere of its own. So i suggest if u can find the time visit all the states in india.
