The moment you hit the speed of light, time would stop for you, so it would be pretty hard (impossible) to turn the darn lights on!
Said another way, as you approach the speed of light, the outside observer sees you slowing down; when you hit the speed of light, it would take the observer an infinite amount of time to see any change in your state.
Now, suppose you left your headlights on the whole way, what would everyone see?
As you approached the speed of light, the light is still reflecting off the objects around you, so the observer, and you, continue to see the reflected light. Once you hit light speed, however, the energy transfer required to turn heat into light wouldn't occur, so no one would see the photons. Of course, since you're traveling at the speed of light at that point, everyone would see you hit the object.
Or this way... the light leaving your headlight changes it's frequency in proportion to the speed you're moving, once you hit light speed, the light would become matter! Of course, the wave packet that is light + your car wouldn't are too much, since time wouldn't exist for you anymore.

The answer is maybe. If you could travel the speed of light (which is not likely to ever be possible), when you turned the lights on (which would be impossible), since you are already going the speed of light, it would be impossible for each emitted photon to push the previously emitted photons forward as that would require them to travel faster than light and the photons would begin to pile up near the bulb filament.
Assuming that two photons cannot occupy the same place at the same time (and this is a big assumption on my part), one of two thing would happen:
(1) As the photons were forced together, you would cause a catastrophic explosion that would destroy your vessel so you would see nothing.
(2) The E(photons energy) would become MC^2 (matter) which would be added to the mass of your vessel which would slow you down below the speed of light and allow all photons emitted after that event to speed away just like normal.
This answer is totally hypothetical since I assumed that your question was as well. In reality there are many reasons why this cannot and will not ever happen as this scenario would violate several aspects of physical reality. But it is an interesting thought experiment as it helps you to begin to see some of the interesting interactions that occur as you approach light speed.

Theoretically it is impossible to go the speed of light. Also, according to the theory of relativity, no matter how fast you are going (up to the speed of light that is), light still speeds away from you at the speed of light.
All that being said, you wouldn't be able to see your headlights unless it was reflecting off some other object, whether it be the fine haze of the water molecules in the atmosphere or a tree, either way, at that speed if you saw anything thing at all, you'd be annhilated by the impact before your mind would even register it.

well, according to realivity you can travel the speed of light...but here is something..if you travel close to the speed of light, and turn on headlights..the light will travel away from you at 186,000 miles a second..the speed of light..but to an observer..the light will also look like it is just traveling 186000 and you are traveling say 185000 miles..not like the light is going 371000.....that has to do with time displacement and some other things...

You can't travel at the speed of light - but you can get very close to it. If you want to know what that would look like, get in your car and turn on the lights ! How come ?. There are parts of the universe receding from earth at almost the speed of light, so an alien there is entitled to consider that we are receding from them at almost the speed of light. But in our inertial frame things just look "normal".

i think if u travel at the speed of light u would go into the future and not see the past or present.
in the same way if u go backwards in the speed of light u'll go in the past.
imagine, u r standing in front of a mirror and u go backwards so will u see ur reflection? no wt ull see is wt was dre at the moment when u were at a speed less than that of light.

interesting qest....
suppose you are in a car and there is another car infront of you,
both of you are travelling with the same velocity ,
so what is happening? The displacement between you and the car is not changing ie. you r not getting anywhere nearer to the car (like the carrot infront of a donkey)
so imagine this scenario with the speed of light,
i havent experienced it myself (maybe because i can't travel at the speed of light in the first place ?)
