outfit question?

anyone good wiht outfits please read on:
I have a party to go to tonight, and i was debating between two choices:
A black skirt and a white kimono style blouse with a silver shrug
OR
A reddish dress-shirt that goes to the thighs and a pair of dark wash skinny jeans underneath.

my two shoe choices are white cuban heels with shiny stuff along the edge
or
dark green metallic sandals/heels.

the greens are really strappy and sort of roman style, while the whites are 100% american formal flipflop style

also i have some random necklaces:
a long, chunky white one
a thin gold chain thats also pretty long
a glass choker (i no...its kind of odd isn't it?)
and a black cloth choker

A long chunky white necklace should top it off, or the glass one, your pick, they will both look good.

Miss, you forgot to mention what kind of a party is that that you are attending tonight. If it's a little bit formal, then your option is the white kimono style blouse, or top, with the black long(?) skirt. Wear those with your dark green (should they have to be metallic?) Roman-style strappy sandals with heels (the long black skirt becomes handy here). Then, to attract attention away from those metallic(?) sandals, wear that glass choker (interesting! sounds like a conversational-piece, eh?). There, you are one woman who'll fit in at any formal party.

If it's going to be a cocktail party, or a semi-formal one, by all means don that trendy red shirtdress with your dark washed skinny jeans! And, I am having problems with your white 100% American formal(?) flipflops. Since when did flipflops become formal? Anyway, reserve that pair at a beach or pool party in the future. Go for those green and strappy Roman sandals (are those calf-straps removable from the sandals?);and you can also wear your extra long gold chain as a belt around your red shirtdress. Finish off the look by piling on those necklaces, the long chunky white one together with the black fabric choker.

I agree with Contessa... just a bit of advice though for next time... the Green shoes would not have matched with any of your options... red and green, not so good! If those are your ONLY shoes... u need to invest in a pair of black heels... when in doubt black heels always work

here's what you do:

wear the white kimono

with your dark wash skinny jeans

white cuban heels

black cloth choker

and layer it with your long chunky white one...

Were your jeans,white shirt,shrug optional,white shoes,any choker,and if you have a black belt tuck your shirt in.jeans and heels are so hot!
