only, i'm only 16. However, I don't know how to tell my parents. My bf said he would have sex with me and his parents really want to have a grandchild. His sister, his mom, and my mom are all infertile and want kids really badly. Would it be such a bad thing for me to get pregnant so they could have a child around?

Think about it. Do you really think your boyfriend's family are encouraging a 16 year old girl to have his baby? They most certainly would not want you to give up on high school and possibly college. I'm sure they'd rather your bf get married and go through all that THEN announce you're having a baby. You're having normal feelings...but you gotta realize that you getting pregnant right now is not the best option.

Yes, it would be a bad thing. Wait until you're 18, out of school, and don't have anything else to worry about in your life. You'd just mess up the kid because you're undoubtably not financially stable especially if you're still living with your parents, not to mention someone your age just is not capable of that kind of responsibility no matter how mature you are.

You are so yung, take it from me, I started having children @ 21 and am still obligated to be there for support, rides, time, money, clothes, food (get the picture). Wait until u r ready, not because u think it would make others happy. For the record, I do not regret having children, but they are there and require my attention and time every day. My point is after you have lived life then have kids!

No. You are extremely too young to have a baby. I had a baby at 19, and I believe I should have prevented it. (See, I didn't do anything to prevent it. Did not try) I should have put off having kids until I was older. You really need to be married with the person you will be with the rest of your life.

is this what 16 year olders think about?? No No No...honey please wait, Children are cute and they are a joy..but you have so many fun things to look forward to..like...your prom, your high school graduation...going to college...just going out with your friends without "looking for a sitter"...besides..kids dont look so cute when your sleeping at 3 or 4 am and they are screaming bloody murder in your ear.

Print out this question and read it again when you're 20 and you'll see how ridiculous it sounds. In the meantime, no sex!!

Talk with them first, if it's a genuine common childwish and they all jump in, so your education doesn't suffer from it... why not.

But don't play Santa with a sudden surprise.
