You could always think of ways it could've been worse. Perhaps it wasn't your intention to do it, or you weren't thinking clearly. Everyone makes mistakes. Another method that works is do something to keep your mind busy and off of things. Play a game, take a sport, write a story, listen to some songs, take a class, etc.Try to get a way to forget it. Do some charity work, try to make it seem like it cancels out. Most importantly, spread what you did wrong to others so you can help the ones you care about not make the same mistake. If you can't take a mistake back, help others that could make that mistake in the future and feel proud for protecting the ones you love from doing that certain thing wrong.

First sink the fact that u can't go about fixing if or altering the fact in ur mind firmly. Then know that whatever has happened was destined to happen and has already happened. Have faith in God and believe that whatever happens happens for good... Know that u are always responsible for ur actions and will have to face the consequences. So when we've got to do it, why not a little braver?? .. All the best :-)

Accept there's nothing you can do. Screw it!
Try and rethink what you've done and why you've done it!
Think of the payoff you would have had, had everything went right... do the ratio analyses of the risk/payoff... and accept the thing that you don't get to ride the horse all the time. go further and do the choices whatever have the dominant payoffs. and as I said before... screw it! I'm sure you're left with a lot of assets in your personal balance sheet! many people had to start from scratch... but you have a lot more .... ;) So , it's not that bad!

Everything can be fixed. Keep trying just like Earl. Make a list of the bad things you do in life, and try to turn them around.

When i need to feel separation from a person or situation, i try this meditation thing i learned years ago. Before you go to sleep at night, say to yourself my mind and body is a clear glass container, and at my toes are spigots that open to allow a clear warm orange liquid to enter, and you feel it moving up your legs and slowly upward throughout your whole body. The orange liquid has magic powers that absorbs all the negativity and hate and every bad emotion. Then the orange liquid turns dark and murky. Simply open the spigots and let it drain from your body. Its very relaxing and does help!

Even if you think it can't be fixed, it can. Make amends to who you owe it, admit fault and take responsibility for your actions. Make direct amends immediately UNLESS it will cause harm to others by revealing your mistake. You will be able to sleep again.

well, it is good that you have a conscience..if you cannot fix it
regret it..learn from it..and time will heal ...desperate people do
desperate things so you just have to forgive yourself...it will be okay...
