time is money, so both therefore are a necessity to life.
without time (clock) everything would be in disaray. Civil society lives by time, motivation is set by time and timeframes. Even the birth of a child is set by time.

I think in a lot of ways it would be better with out time. I mean then people could do all the things they need to do in a day and get them done on their own pace, same goes for the other things in life. I mean, I think that it's as simple as this;
when the sun is out, it's day. When the moon is out it's night.

i gotta say this is one of the more original questions around. i mean, when it comes to social science. i guess no matter what, we human beings require direction. in fact we are surrounded by things that require direction. the way our clothes are worn, the way vehicles move, the way we move- forward rather than backward.

time gives us this sense of direction- we move forward. and it gives us a sense of security, esp for those who depend largely on schedules and stuffs like that. without it, we would feel lost. have you imagined life without Time? i guess you did. i wish, sometimes... TIme would come to stand still.

I think the time dependence all started when ppl realized that there wasn't enough time in a day to do all they needed to do, so they tried to organize it all and just ended up spreading it all out...LOL

our lives are generally regulated, time to go to school and start, time to finish, time for church etc. It keeps things orderly and allows for flow of people, work, ideas and traffic. If we did not organise things into cohesive and logical sequences what we would have is chaos.. but then that is another theory

WE ARE NOT DEPENDANT ON TIME, ITS JUST A MEANS OF MEASURING THE 24CYCLE OF OUR PLANETS SPIN EG 1 SPIN 24HOURS, IF WE DIDNT MEASURE THAT TIME NOTHING WOULD BE DONE AT THE RIGHT TIME, TOTAL CHAOS, UNLESS WE ALL DEVELOPED A NEW SENSE, LIKE COLONIES OF ANTS DO LIKE A SORT OF ALL AS 1, HIVE MENTALITY, NO INDIVIDUAL OR PRIVATE THOUGHTS.

You need time to know when to do things, and make a timetable for yourself so you know when to do things. You can't buy time, time is precious, so don't waste the time you've got.

because our society makes it that way, as in you have to be at work at 2 o'clock. If we could go in whenever, there would be no structure
