I agree with others that this question really doesn't ring true.
First of all, it is very unlikely that a bladder infection, in the absence of other problems, would cause him to wet himself in more than one or two isolated incidents. If he just wet himself once or twice, he doesn't need diapers, he just needs to have the infection treated!
Secondly, what on earth do you mean, "he will be forced to for a long time"? Even if he is wetting himself repeatedly and uncontrollably due to an infection (which is very unusual), it should stop as soon as the infection clears up, which should only take 2 or 3 days at most with treatment. There is absolutely no need for him to "get used to" anything if this is the case. There would, of course, be a need to get the infection treated before it spread to the kidneys and caused worse problems.

how about go to the dr and get antibiotics.and clear the infection up before it damages his kidneys. he doesnt need diapershe needs medicine. i have had many bladder infections and was never told wear diapers.your a fool for saying this no doctor would tell you wear diapers itd not a cure for the infection. get the boy to the doctor and buy the meds. he will be better in 48hours. highly unlikely that he would pee on himself

why on earth does he needs to wear diapers!!..That is ridiculous.. Just because he has an infection he does not need to wear diapers..would you wear them if you had an infection?..no of course bot..how degrading!..You would take the antibiotics the Dr gave you..and in a day or 2 ..it will be all cleared up.If that was your solution..as i can see no Dr actually saying he needs to wear diapers...i feel so bad for your son. How dare you treat him in such a manner.

If he has a bladder infection can you not get him some antibiotics so he won't have to wear diapers? This sounds ridiculous to me. Go to the doctor!

Don't force him. Tell him it's necessary and let him decide.
If he chooses not to, let him deal with the consequences. While this might sound cruel, sometimes teenagers only learn through hard lessons.
I do empathize with him though, and hope the recovery goes quickly.

my brother had a really small bladder when he was younger and when he went to school camp he was also very selfconcious. what we did was we got these absorbant underwear things called "drynites" and they were really discreet and he felt safe from being teased.

haha an idea popped into my head. He could wear those big huge pads instead if that is more appealing to him. even though they arent really for boys . . . it might sound better to him
