I always wonder if the birth control was actually consider the same as abortion. The pill has 3 steps. The first step is to prevent the sperm from getting into the egg. The next step hardens the egg, so the sperm can't get in. These two steps are fine becouse if the sperm never gets in life does not start. If the two steps fail and the sperm gets in the egg and lines againts the walls, it dies. The third step prevents it from attaching to the walls once its inside the egg. Many people that are pro-life agree once a sperm and egg meet and furtalized, then you have a human beeing. If the third step kills the sperm once its inside the egg, is it technically abortion. Most of the time it probably doesn't reach the third step, so you wouldn't be killing the baby, only sometimes. What do you think?

Thats not how most birth control works. The most widely used birth control uses hormones to trick a womans body into thinking it is already pregnant. Thus it prevents ovulation. Because the body does not ovulate during pregnancy. So the answer is most definately no. no way

Some forms of the Pill stop the body from releasing an egg from the ovary. Others work by making the lining of the womb too thick or too thin to accept the fertilized egg... I really don't consider a birth control pill to be an abortion... even if it does get fertilized, there is no time for it to grow in your uterus.

I have never heard of the Birth Control Pill doing any of these steps..if it did...there wouldn't be all the children out there being born while women are on The Pill......
I think you are thinking of the Morning After Pill which does these things..this is taken only after sex to prevent pregnancy if not using some form of contraceptives

No. A lot of people who don't believe in abortion believe this form of birth control is OK. The egg has no time to develop feeling. In a partial birth abortion, the child can feel being torn apart.

The birth control pill is one that many pro-lifers will consider to be abortion as it does enable the abortion of the earliest stage of a pregnancy. What you choose to do with that is up to you.

I read all of what you said, but I don't believe that is abortion. Abortion is murder and what you describe sounds more like prevention. People can't say that abortion is prevention if the baby is already formed.
