they are related because they are all "social sciences" psychology focuses on the individual, anthropology is the study of the cultural development of people, and sociology is the study of human social behavior. studying psychology alone won't give you a wider knowledge of the other two, thats why they are different subjects

All three are considered social sciences, but they are learned via different perspectives. Psychology is the study of the mind. A person studying psychology learns about the functions of the brain in INDIVIDUALS, among other things such as emotions, dreams, and memory. Sociology is the study of interactions between people. A sociologist will look at things like group behavior (e.g. "groupthink," where those in a group will often be inclined to agree with the majority in order to move meetings along, even if the best ideas have not been presented) and interpersonal relationships (e.g. what is needed for love to develop). Finally, anthropology is the study of cultures. An anthropologist may travel to foreign countries and record the ways of people of these different environments.

sociology is the study of man as a social animal,
anthropology is the study of the evolution of man from an animal.,

hence when one studies psychology he has a better idea of the anthropological and social effects that are on the mind of a human being., thus you will have a better knowledge in sociology and anthropology too.

off the top of my head (without looking it up) as I recall, psychology is (the study) of the mind, sociology is about people, and anthropology is about animals. Sure, if you know the mind it will help you understand the reactions of people and animals.
