I was overtaking a car on the road the other day and engine studder. The next thing I know the Check Engine Light light up my dash. I brought it to my brother because he has a OBD II code reader. It showed this code, P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
The weird thing is that I just changed out the plugs this summer and the wires for it. What could have caused it and it is serious?
FYI- my car has 103,000 miles on it. Thanks for your help.

May be the timing or a fouled plug(doesn't really matter if they are new),but can also be a cam position sensor or other ones.Go to Auto Zone and get a code key and manual for your car.

you may have a sticking valve or some previous owner didn't change the oil like they should and you may have severe blow by. Or another possibility you may have a bad valve seal on that cylinder. Check your spark plug and look for any oil.
