its called lunacy but what makes ppl go nuts?

I suspect that lunacy does not really depend on the moon. However it is easier to see on nights of the full moon and therefore more likely that the lunatics will be out and about.

Magnetic and gravity forces between the earth and moon are strongest during the full moon phase, thus causing havoc with the electrical impulses of the brain, more so, with people already afflicted with misfiring of the neurons in the brain. The very old word, lunatic, is derived from the Latin word, luna, meaning moon. So there is some connection between the two. But, on the other hand, I`m not a psychiatrist, so.....................

Trust me on this! i work for an alarm company, monitoring alarm systems. People get nuttier right before/durring/and right after a NEW MOON! Full moon a little, yes, BUT NEW MOON! Watch out!

the tides and bodies of water are effected by the moon phases. a human body is 75% water, so the moon effects some humans in strange ways.
