When the prince kissed her, did he know she was going to come back to life?

And if he didn't know, is it wrong to kiss a dead girl even if she's hot?

It might have been just the regret the Prince felt about such the sad death of a young girl at such a tender age and when she was apparently in the full bloom of youth.It is not unknown in such cases to express one's feeling by lightly kissing the dead.
The Prince need not have known that his light kiss would prove a charm to bring back the girl to life.None of the dwarfs knew it either.The orignal Grimms Tale makes no such claim either.

The prince did not know that Snow White was going to come back to life. He looked upon her even seemingly in death and was overcome by her beauty that he could not resist a kiss. Many people kiss the dead goodbye. It's not wrong to do so, it's simply a kiss.
What surprises me is that when Snow White awoke from the kiss, the Prince didn't jump back in fear if he thought she was dead. I know I would have!! Which makes me think now he must have known somehow that she was only in the bonds of slumber - he did not seem so surprised when she opened her eyes.

no. when she "died" they put her in a thing that she lied on.
the prince was sad and just kissed her.
the 7 dwarfs didn't know about that.
