If you have thoroughly scanned your computer with a good anti-virus like Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, BitDefender, AVG, Avast or such other, and nothing came out, then you are most probably safe from virus. This may be happening due to pressure on memory.

Computer viruses such as the "Blaster" virus are written to reboot your computer without warning. Usually these viruses will make the computer reboot every 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes after the computer has booted.

If you believe your computer may be infected with a virus or are uncertain if your computer is infected with a virus make sure your virus scanner definitions are up to date. If you don't have virus protection, then get some fast. I use Norton/Symantec virus protection and don't have any problems with any viruses. It is very worth you while to protect your computer.

Many of my friends laptops have failed due to overheating. The small air inlets get dusty faster than desktops.
Try taking some compressed Air and spray all of the inlets on the bottom and sides of the laptop. Many of you sit your laptops on the carpet. This chokes the only air intake the laptops have.
Try covering your mouth with carper for a few minutes.
OK seriously, if you make sure your laptop is not overheating. You will know. Feel the bottom of the Laptop when it reboots.
If its not overheating.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers).
