basically, take the c major scale, sharp the second, flat the fifth, then play on the seventh mode of that scale. this doesn't fit with any of the exotic scales i'm familiar with. the song in question is easy enough, but i was curious about the scale. it almost seemed like a phrygian natural from the harmonic minor scale or dominant b2 from harmonic major, but one note keeps throwing that idea off. could just be an odd note thrown in for flavor... and yes i did plenty of yahoo and google trying to figure it out...

i'm leaning towards phrygian dominant with an extra note thrown in for flavor...

it sounds... it sounds like a harmonic minor... but I'm not sure XD I'm literally lying in bed humming it to myself XD but I think it's a harmonic B minor scale
