Just asking 'cause if there's good money there, Y pay heaps of money trying to learn how to do something else, right?

In answer to your question, YES.

Next time you're at Disneyland Anaheim, stop into my high school buddy's shop just outside the gate. Ask for Tom Kelly.

Tom drew characatures right next to me all thru high school. He tried college but nothing fit and he kept on sketching funny faces and people. By luck, he got himself a job doing sketches of people at Disneyland. Now, he runs the shop.

Tom makes 6 figures and loves his work. Plenty of Disney's artists started this way and used to be in Burbank. Some are still there but most of that is in Lake Buena Vista, Florida now.

People who make money sketching people have an almost mechanical talent for getting the features properly proportioned and dead on quickly, the first time they draw them. If you have this skill, go for it. Otherwise you should find a different niche.

Only if you are good, my boyfriend is going to school for that too. A lot of places use sketch artist.

-First is the company that you are working for , yes if your working for big time comic companies like marvel and D.C.

- No , if your country does not offer opportunities for sketch artist
