Think about it. You lie to your childeren when you tell them that Santa Claus will be coming on Chirstmas eve, or the Easter Bunny will be hoppin' down the bunny trail. When they find out that this is all truly a lie, could it spark a teenage rebellion?

Santa Clause is a "cover up" for the true meaning of CHRIST-MAS as the rabbit is like a coverup for the true meaning of EASTER

As for the toothfairy, thats what you call the person who puts the money under your pillow at night in exchange for the tooth (who might that person be)

All young ones need a break from the powers they have been subjected to for so long and every teen need that to whatever degree of power they been subject of.
If not they will have a hard time to develop further in the quest for a genuine personality AND to know themselves.
Are you in a environment that are supportive and loving,
these phases are not a problem.
But if you are in a place were guilt and 'sense of duty' have replaced love and support you may be in for a leanghty and hard adolescence.

It hasn't happened yet, so chances are its not going to happen again. Oh, and usually they are kids around the age of 8 when they find out that Santa is a liar, not teenagers.
