Well it is proven that human beings first appeared in Middle East and Africa. Which means not only that they are higher on the evolutionary curve, but also that the law of natural selection would have worked more time on them.So considering that Darwins law is correct which has not been proved otherwise till date, black people at any given time are more fitter to survive the world than all other race of human beings in natural circumstances...
And just so you know, i'm neither black nor white
Its just what i think...

Your question is rather insulting and racist. Black people have the same abilities as other races and perhaps when people shed this racism, the world will be a better place. I think you should look at the black scientists, educators, politicians, atheletes and performers before you judge. I am white but I appreciate black people such as Colin Powell, Whitney Houston, Sidney Poitier and others for leadership. Martin Luther King Jr. was no one's fool and he wanted harmony between races. I admire both the courage of black people and their patience at the abuse of whites.

Darker skinned people were definetely first. How do we know? Well if you look at most traits i.e. skin color, hair texture, eye color, those traits of darker skinned people are dominant over those with fair skin. Therefore, it would have been impossible for the human race as we know it today to have come from fair skinned people. Now was it "black" people or "Middle Eastern" people as we know them today? Probably not, but they were definitely darker skinned with the typical traits that accompany dark skinned people.

in evolution there is no such thing as lower and higher!!!!!!
here is how it works... if something is alive today, they are "just as evolved" as we are, or anything is....
you share with many people a total misconception about evolution.
(almost everyone that has answered so far)
you guys are funny.. things that came first arent more evolved(nothing is).. one celled organisms came before humans! so does that mean they are "more highly evolved"?
lol
how evolution works:
If your alive, your in a tie for the "most highly evolved" prize with every other living organism thats alive...
very basically:
evolution is that things that dont work die and the ones that do work live.. so if you are alive, you are as perfectly adapted to your enviroment as you could.. and are in a tie for first place. whether your a cockroach or a physisict.
as if it matters at this point.. african people are the same species as every other human.. the ONLY reason they LOOK different is because they have lived in a different enviroment... so they are "more evolved" for that enviroment, and vise versa.
homo sapiens sapiens baby... (fist in air)

By whose definition?
Are you speaking in general or do you have someone specific in mind? You can find some white people way down on the evolutionary scale right around the corner.

poorly stated, but a legit question. It was my understanding that the first people were in the middle east area, not in africa.
So would the races (again at a lack for better terms) in africa be more recent than those of european or asian ...

How could that possibly be, when humans have been proven to come out of Africa? The Africans are the oldest and have been extant the longest of all of us. It is a judgement on their habits and customs to say they are less advances. They did not need technology to survive. Those who left Africa needed to adapt to new climates and environments, but it doesn't mean that they have evolved further.
