i don't talk much over the phone...not much in person too but at least in person i can feel comfortable because i am looking at the other's face
but i just can't come up with topics when i'm on the phone

Talking on the phone really does take some practice. I am not a phone person either but, what helps me is to kind of make a plan of what topics you want to talk about . It's like planning to write a paper for class, you have to make some notes first. What also helps me is visualizing the person you are talking to as if you are talking to them in person.

You do rock. I like guys who are quiet! I am an introvert and I think that when a guy talks too much it is a turn off. You are doing nothing wrong. Just tell people that you are not a phone person, and stay that way. It is masculine.

everyone is so used to the internet the phone is becoming something of the past..lol
hell i dont even have a phone hadnt had one in like 3 years
i cant afford to have a phone plus pay all my other bills
its good to have a phone for emergency's though

Try talking to people who are talkative. My boyfriend isn't a phone person, but he talks to me for hours because I'm talkative and I bring up things to talk about and ask him questions to get him talking. Also, asking people questions gets them talking and then that might lead to a conversation about something else.
