My friend is always telling me horribe stories about her her bf, abuses her. he thows things at her, slaps her, hits her,he even raped her! So i tell her that she sould dump him but she says that he is sooooo "sweet and caring" and that she loves him. but i cant stand to see her comming to school the next day with another cut on her face or bruise on her arm. Her bf has had a past of abusing girls but i didnt think he would do that to her. so i told her that she should tell her parents but she says that her parents have no right to know about whats going on in her relationship w/ him...
i personally think that i her parents should know, so they can put a stop to this madness before something seriously bad happens.
I need to convice her that, that guy dosent love her if he abuses her! i need some input, comments, tips, ways to convince her please!

If she doesn't see that he isn't so"loving and caring", Then she must be scared! You should call her parents, that is not something to keep a secret. She might be mad at you for a long time, but this man is terrible and he should be charged for rape and abuse! This man is NOT caring, no one should be that blind of this danger in front of her, hurting her. Honestly, if this man can even hit her, think about what else he can do. She needs your help, it may not seem like it, but she does.

If you know first hand that she is being abused you as her friend should tell her parents before something really horrible happens. She will be pissed at you but she obviously has fallen into that he loves me because he hits me mentality. Tell them you may end up saving her life. Hell if he's already raped he there is no reason he'd stop hitting her. If he get into a fit or rage he may kill her, and that is not an outcome any one wants. I would do it as a intervention if possible, call her parents tell them you need to talk to them about your friend, but before they say anything to her you'd like to be there. Her parents need to understand as horrible as this situation is getting pissed at their daughter will not work, although she is caught up in this she's the victim, he has brainwashed her with violence. There needs to be a united front and to all be on her side. No love is ever worth a fist! If telling them does not work, and help her realize what is going on then police action should be taken especially if she's a minor.
Good Luck..

tell her if you see another bruise on her you'll tell her parents and then tell them! tell her you'd rather have her mad at you about that than to attend her funeral. THEN DO IT! people in abusive relationships have self esteem issues, and are afraid to demand more for themselves. so, you, as her friend need to help her care for herself by telling her parents because if she's under 18 and still living with her folks THEY ARE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HER, and can protect her from this guy who sounds like really bad news.

Just tell her you started planing her funeral...If he is suppose to be all sweet and caring, then why is he hitting her???Her brain is in the wrong place...This could be a life or death thing, so i would call her parents...You dont have to tell them who you are, just fill them in on whats going on, they can figure it out from there...

Look up some web sites on abused women and what happens (WTCS)... Start going to church group activities and encouraging her to go to them (a pastor also might realize something is going on and get her to tell him and realize he isn't good for her) Best of luck.

Tell your parents then. And ask them to tell hers.
30% of all murdered teenage girls are killed by a current or former boyfriend.
