Jim Morrison. How did he really die ?

Question

Ive heard all the theories and read a few different versions so what do you all think ? I like to think it was a cover up and that he is alive in a cave in the Sahara Desert somewhere with a bunch of songs written on parchment which will be more profound then the dead sea scrolls when he calls me on my Orange Mobile (they do claim to be able to do anything) and invites me to collect them and learn them in a personal jam session in the cave and then present them to the world .... erm Just a thought ... tell me what you think.

Jim and I share a birthday, Dec 8th, and on that day every year, he drops by and we chat, smoke a little, drop some acid for old times sake, you know? He's skinny again now, and very tan, so maybe he does live out in the desert somewhere? I know enough not to ask though, and he made the choice for privacy a long time ago. I commend your dream of a jam session (I'd love one too) but he hasn't sung since Paris, before even, and always changes the subject if I mention it. Still I'll tell him about this and see what he says, ok? Oh and Lukas? I agree with you about Mr. Curious. It's the hair that gives him away, right? hehe Hope you like my answer. I have never believed he was murdered. Like many of the other answerers on here, I believe it was heart failure or heart attack due to drugs. Although one can have a heart attack of natural causes at a fairly young age if there is an undetected defect or something already in the heart. Morrison lived a lot of life in that 27 years! He died on July 3, 1971, at age 27, and was found in his bathtub by Courson. According to Stephen Davis' biography of Morrison, it was reported that he had dried blood around his mouth and nose and large bruising on his chest. This suggests Morrison might have died from a massive hemorrhage caused by tuberculosis. Many fans and biographers have speculated that the cause of death was a drug overdose, but the official report listed the cause of death as heart failure. No autopsy was performed because the medical examiner, pursuant to French law, found no evidence of foul play. The lack of an official autopsy left many questions unanswered and provided a fertile breeding ground for speculation and rumor.

Jim Morrison is indeed gone from this world and buried in France. He died of a massive heart attack brought on by a drug over-dose. As for what I think of your theory, well, let's just say it's interesting, incorrect in my opinion, but interesting, it shows great imagination.

hes alive. i see him at the casino every Tuesday night. hes the old guy playing the quarter slots talking to himself. i think hes still doing peyote or something. he seems a little messed up. i talked to him a few times and he said he got tired of making music.
