why does google not ignore the content in META tags listed in the source code of a web site?

C'mmon man ! meta tags is one of the best way to promote your website then how can google ignore that content , do u know what is meta tags?
you have to describe your websites in one line as a title, 1 keyword as a keyword and a paragraph as a meta tag description so , it is very important for us , see here is my websites at top on search engine just bcoz of meta tags and fresh unique content,

it does mostly. in new sites it will still look at meta tags.
