When my wife came out of the bedroom dressed up for a nice fancy lunch today - I might hate her parents with a passion, but at least the misfits did ONE thing right in their lives - create the person I'm spending the rest of my life with.

I was at the store with a huge list for Thanksgiving dinner. It's not my favorite holiday. I cook food all year long, so it's not like I get a special thrill out of cooking for this day. So I'm trudging through the aisles picking up what I need...and then I see it...a Krispy Kreme donut display with colored holiday themed boxes! I obviously quicken my pace and head right towards it...and what do I see but boxes of yummy freshly delivered glazed donut goodness. Now normally, this would not make my heart skip a beat, because I'm already a fan of their gooey goodness...what made my heart leap out of my chest and skip beats all over aisle 12 was the fact that for a "Limited time" I could purchase 15 donuts for the price of a dozen!!! OMG.

My husband bought gifts for 56 Grandkids today.
It was " Black Friday!
He spent $7000.

A couple of hours ago, when my baby fell really hard and was withing a hair of hitting a wooden speaker. That was scary.
