You learn to slow down and not let anything bother you as much as you do when your young. You become wiser and more open minded about people and their idea's.
This is my own experience can't say everyone is like this, I'm sure we are what we are from an early age in life all the way through it.

Taking into consideration that people have lived to be 120 years old, 30 years old and above spans 90 years. That's a long time. I'm only 66 and I can't remember what 30 was like. But to try to answer your question, my guess at the moment is that you have more knowledge and aren't troubled by many of the things that trouble many younger people. Life is a lot less stressful. And once you retire from work, it a lot less demanding too.
Right now, my days consist of eating lightly. I don't have to stuff myself because I know I can eat whenever I want to. Also, I like to work out with weights every other day. I don't use heavy weights because I know I can do as may reps as I want. When I was younger and working out in a gym, I had to use heavier weights so that my reps would be around 12 at the most. I work out at home now and can do whatever I want. I also like to go for walks. If it's nice outside, I can go out. If the weather is bad, I can stay inside and use my treadmill. I also spend some time watching cable TV shows--I like documentaries, biographies, and history. Also, if I feel like taking a nap, I can do so anytime I want to. If as a result of taking a nap during the day, I don't feel sleepy at night, I can stay up late and not worry about being tired the next day at work because I don't work anymore. It's pretty neat. I really like this. I started doing this last year when I turned 65. The years from 30 to 65 weren't that great. I was working my butt off. But I'm enjoying the rewards now. Life is good.

Knowing more than you did when you were younger than 30. More mature and life has a better outlook about it.
Children are almost grown and you don't have to figure out what you are going to do with yourself for the rest of your life.
When I was younger than 30, I tried to figure out what life was about, now I don't have to try. I know what life is about and I try to live it to the fullest now.
God has allowed me to live 51 years so far and I pray He will see fit for me to make it thru a lot more years. Wonderful years.
I have two beautiful daughters and three wonderful grandchildren. At 30, I never thought about grands and now, I can't remember a time without them. AWESOME!!!!

That God has given you the grace and mercy to live to see those years. There are many who have not been as fortunate as you. Some even laid down last night and did not arise this morning. Every day that God gives us is a good day. May God Bless

You realize your parents were right after all. Then you start acting like them.
