We had a try out for basketball. I was told by everyone on the team to go to the tryout and join the team. But the coach told me you're cut and you can't join the team. Everyone were surprised including other coaches because I play better than any other person on that team and I got scewed this year. I taught some people in the team how to play and they made the team. I didn't? What should I do?

(Oh and the coach has been really bad with me for three years.)

because hes the man in charge..there might not be much you can do..maybe if theres an assistant coach you can talk to him about another tryout because of the circumstances

It it is league basketball, just try out for another team. If it high school, ask to join another school's team and transfer to that school. All you have to do is ask permission from the Board and in most states they have to let you switch schools. You could try talking to the coach, but he's likely to be defensive. The best thing to do is play for another school and beat your old school by 20 points each game.

Don't take no for an answer. You're already cut, so you should just try to get on the team. If you do this then maybe the coach will see that you don't give up that easily.
You should also see if you can get the coach fired for cutting you just because he/she doesn't like you.

Meet with your guidance counselor and explain this to him or her. Request that the two of you meet with the Coach and ask for an explanation as to exactly why you were not chosen. Make sure that you make a list of all of your facts so you don't forget anything and take the list with you to the meeting.

Make sure that you are not overly emotional or upset when you go. Just have all your facts correct. You may be suprised at the outcome.

the coach has a problem with you. you should just keep trying out and let him know you the best on the court maybe then he will have respect for you
