How did the Romans multiplied there numbers during their time using the Roman numeral system? Especially when they had to multiply big numbers? Thanks!

My nephew showed me how to do it a while back. I can't remember though because it doesn't come in handy very often. I just wanted you to know that there is a way to do it. Keep looking.

Abacus...that is the first modern calculator, if you look it up either type in Abacus or 16th century calulator's.
