I guess what I really want to ask is how do you know if a Spirit Guide is near you? What presences do you feel?
There was this one time where I was waiting for my class to start, and for a second or two, I smell something leather, but it quickly dissapper quickly!! Less than 10 sec! I looked around to see if anybody had anything leather on them; nobody did. Then I smell it again; less than 1 min later and it dissappear fast again!! I thought I was imagining it all, but the second smell assured me that I wasn't my imagination. But it might be something else though........
Enough of my story, but I heard that you will know that a Spirit Guide is near you when you feel somebody touching you or something like that. Help pleas!

But to answer your question, yes scent can be a signal. Just pay attention, you may find a more concrete sign. Also ask how the scent of leather may be significant. Maybe there is a clue you havn't noticed.

You're right, scent is an indicator, as are whispered voices. Be kind to your guides.

Try meditation and you may get a glimpse..I know mine is always near by, I sense his being.
