I don't know of any online stores but I can almost guarantee that your local library will probally have more than one book that will explain everything you need to know! Also a local fabric store may even have patterns as well as the fabric to go along!

try a Annie's attic because they have all sorts of books that will tell you. you can crochet, sew or knit. also some craft stores will have books on this. i made a crochet cat that had move-able arms out of a book that is no longer available but there are More books

I bought a book called "The Knitted Teddy Bear" which I really love. If you knit, it has good patterns for adorable teddy bears and their clothing.
