In my country it's called tropical cyclones. Firinga & Hollanda are the worst ones i have witnessed but before my birth there were three deadly ones: Carol, Claudette & Gervaise

The strongest hurricane(typhoon) i've encountered was Hurricane
Opal in 1995.We live 100-150 miles inland and is 397 feet
above sea level,but we still got 80 mph winds.

150 miles per hour in Guam. We had 5 typhoons that year.
