And... I'd go on a month-long road trip.
I'd tell my teaching assistant that he's far too cocky for his own good.

First of all i would like to make a distinction between true and false inhibitions. You can have inbitions simply cause you are afraid of what other people may think about you (social fear of beeing an outsider an then not belonging to the society / but to mention that as instinctive fear it could somehow be helpful in evolutionary survival. Cause you cant survive alone).

Let me call the simple inhibition or fear of what other think of you spontaneously false or unreal inhbition.

On the contrary there are inhibitions based on human conscience or inherent personal ethic ideal. You have for example inbitions cause you are afraid of hurting somebody. Let me call this real inbitions. You are really interested in other people. Within the first example you are just interested in yourself and your reputation.

To answer your question properly i had to make this distinction. Cause inbitions are not equal to inhibition. There are differences in quality and grade.

Real inhibitions are one of the base of human society (humanity). If we just do what we want without carrying other peoples feeling society doesnt work (at least not in the long run. war would be the answer.And if not its at least not enjoyable).

You wrote you would pierce your lower lip if you had no inhibitions. Then I ask myself what are you afraid of. Why you dont get this little tattoo or simply pierce your lower lip.
And what keeps you away from realizing your dreams or going on a month-long road trip. All of these things put as examples are quiet easy to reach.

So what keeps you away? If its the fear of others thinking bad of you: Dont care what other people say. Find your own freedom.

But if you care about the consequenses for example in terms of your employment i can understand you. Some chefs dont employ people with tattoos and lower lip pearcings cause it gives the touch of being unreliable. You may not fear what he thinks but the consequences. Thinking about the consequences of your acting is intelligent; doing sth not just why you are afraid of others talking or thinking bad about you not.

Good question! I am not sure of the answer, but I am going to study the possibilities. I do have the time and space, the age and knowledge and the desire to do something really special. Not necessarily great or small, but helpful to others.

I have this one ex that i was really in love with and he was a total ****, but i just walked away...I would track him down and just smack the p*$$ outta him!!!! ..not go into the whole "you did this an that and i really cared for you" mess...just a good hard look in the eye and SSSSHHHMMMAAAACCCKK!!! ...then smile, say thank you and walk away right this time. lol

i'd buy so many clothes and wear them once and throw them away, then i'd travel the world and have so much credit card debt but it wouldn't matter, i'd move to a different country find really hot men to sleep with every night of the week and toss them out like garbage in the morning

you gotta take it easy on the ta's. the life of a grad student is filled with grading of countless papers while also doing work towards a doctoral degree. afterwhich their work options will be quite limited.
