He tries to make me laugh all the time and pokes me, I'm not sure if he's trying to annoy me or he likes me. I sort of like him.. I can't really tell.

He might like you. Look for other signs. Does he go out of his way to spend time with you or tease you? If you don't like him that much, enjoy his flirting and enjoy the ride.

Had a guy that did something similar to that when I was in 8th grade. There's a cool chance he does. Or maybe that's just the way he is with everyone? Watch how he acts around other people/girls. Does he do what he does with you with them?
