,A walk to Remember' because it happens in their youth and it ends in their youth. They don't get too have a live together or not a long one, not like 'The Notebook'. That the sad thing in the notebook they had a life she just for got about it that has too hurt a lot but still they had something they lost it only one felt it. And no-one lived with the memory of what they lost, while in 'A walk to Remember' the guy lived on and had to live with the pain.

The Notebook. and here's why...
The Notebook puts you there. and I really love flashbacks. A Walk To Remember doesn't have flashbacks, and I don't really feel like i'm there while i'm watching it. The Notebook has a better story line, it's a great twist on the classic love story. Whereas A Walk To Remember is just the same old story told over and over again. The Notebook has introduced the "kiss in the rain" scene that now is something every teen or person aspires to. A Walk To Remember has nothing of the sort and inspired no one to do anything. The Notebook is very sad because of the way it ends when both die and you're sad because you wanted them to be together and for the woman to remember for forever, but that's not how it was. A Walk To Remember ends on a cheery note where Jamie is remembered and he'll never forget but he's ok with her death. So all in all, The Notebook really is the sadder more romantic movie. although i do like a walk to remember too, it's just to fit sad and romantic, The Notebook beats A Walk To Remember out any day.

The Notebook. A Walk to Remember is sad too, but the notebook has a more romantic theme throughout the movie (high school sweethearts who are separated for many years, then come together at the end). The scenes where Allie gets her memory back for one last dance with Noah is very sad.

VIVI,
The movie "The Notebook" got many more veiwers and was the best movie according to cridicts and veiwers. "A Walk To Rember" was not as popular and it only got 4 1/2 stars when "The Notebook" got 5. "The Notebook" is clearly the greatest.

I loved "The Notebook", wouldn't call it sad though.
They had a whole life together: fun, passion, marriage, children and then died together.
That's not sad, it's joyous if anything.
"A Walk To Remember", while romantic wasn't in the same class as "The Notebook".

A Walk to Remember. And the reasoning is because of the differences between the boy and the girl. Opposites attract! Here is a girl that is sick and doesn't let it bother her and leads her life as normal as possible with set goals. That is the way that it should be. And then a boy that is rough and rowdy and is trying to have the bad boy attitude. He turns soft and loving and sees life in a different prospective through this girl's eyes and realizes what he has been missing. That is what makes this movie so special.
