Many people all over the world are racist (preconception, prejudiced), it is most often for self preservation and personal protection.
Friends of mine are from central Africa, they tell me that even in Africa there is tribal racism amongst the African people of the same race and skin color.
Is it right?? I hate do conjecture one way or another, since different people have different reasons for being intolerant towards other people from foreign places. One thing I know is that we should never be racist or prejudiced because we just hate the skin color or nationality of a person. We should never pre-judge a person but have a very good, and substantiated reason why we do not care for a person.

I am not sure wher the line is drawn when we speak of racism, I don't feel you have the right to harm ,intimidate, or just mistreat anyone because they are of a different race, however I feel this b.s. of racism & political correctness has gone much to far, when you take some ones pride away from them you have taken his soul, I have been in contact with the public and people all of my life and have seen them in some really serious situations , the ones I have seen that were proud of who and what they are have always been the bravest , strongest, and durable, this is Mexicans , whites, Porta Ricans, Cubans, and any other race who have pride in them selves, the ones who had no pride was always sneaky cowardly and unrealible, so ??? it seems the ones who had pride tried harder and wanted to prove they were made of better stuff, but, the ones who wanted to be politically correct ect, had no pride nor guts, and relied on their stance of P.C.as an excuse for being cowardly etc, my theory is any one who won't stand for what they believe in won't stand at all, or for anything at all. and are nothing more than sheep, it has gotten so stupid a teenage cheer leader is not permitted to chant our side is better than yours, com on folks, America needs people who have pride and will stand for our nation, flag, and way of life, and we will certaintly need them a lot more very soon, our enemy's don't give a dam about P,C, and they are certaintly very very prejudice, and raciest, so when your wives , daughters, sweethearts etc are raped pissed on and treated like crap you will remember these words, who can be more prejudice than the Blacks, muslims ect??

Being a racist in and of itself is not a crime (at least, not a legal one).
However, many expressions of racism are crimes. This can include slurs designed to provoke another person/crowd, setting up and burning crosses, or denying somebody a job based on their ethnicity or national origin.
Obviously, violent expressions of racism will qualify for felony charges as well as any hate crime statutes. Sometimes, they might bring up RICO laws too if they want to keep you away from society for a while.

Having racist beliefs is perfectly legal. Infringing on a person's rights on the basis of race is illegal.
Racists are really so silly that they are not worth mentioning, but they do have the right to believe what they want.

Why might you have this form of traumatic pal. those that twist each little remark into some thing this is opposite. i'm shocked he might have any acquaintances in any respect. Being called asian is offensive? it quite is new to me. commonly the term Oriental is what human beings discover very offensive for some reason. in basic terms call him an fool... although he will probable think of it quite is racist besides.

In ways racism can be illegal if it is construed as a hate crime. What acts of hate can be considered a hate crime depends on the city, county, state, or country you live in. So, you will have to do some research about where you live and find out what is considered a hate crime in the lawbooks.

Just having racist points of view is not illegal; however, acting on those sentiments will generally get somebody hauled to jail, as well it should!

Depends on what extent you show racisim. If you basically keep to yourself, its still wrong - but not illegal. However, i believe discrimination is illegal and yes, it could land you a fee or jail time.
