Tough call. MY two favorite magical characters. Both are incredibly powerful...possessing access to a wide variety of powers and skills. Both the original Dr. Fate and the current Dr. Fate are the about the most powerful of the several that have worn the helm. It seem to me that either of them and Doctor Strange would most likely wind up in prelly much of a draw. IF there were to be a winner I think it would come down to who was able to compensate faster to the changes in magic from the other and, in all honesty that could go either way.

On his worst day, the Golden Age Doctor Fate, wearing the half-helmet he wore in those days could beat the lame-o cape off Doctor Strange.

fate would take strange... but it would be an interesting fight...

It would end up in a draw. Both characters would then team up to fight a greater menace.
