People do live in North Pole. That is North Pole, Alaska

Scientists do visit North pole, and sometimes live there for longer period. That's all about the humans living on the north pole. Also, did you know that "There's only one Santa, but there are two North Poles!". The North Pole area is mainly the Arctic Ocean, but there are many people that live in the very far northern reaches of Asia, Europe, and North America, which is close enough to be considered the North Pole.

The South Pole, which is completely on land, is inhabitable in its natural condition, but there are science stations situated in the south pole, which do house humans.

Then of course, theres Santa Clause too, don't forget him. :)

Yes, humans can live on the north pole. The only question now that lies is "How Would We Get Food?". Water? Easy. just eat the snow... just make sure that you don't eat the yellow snow, for obvious reasons. And if it's not obvious, then you, sir, are a complete nincompoop!
