Russia is not friendly with Islamic extremists, nor is China. China, still nominally a communist nation, is official atheistic, and Russia, having only recently abandoned communism, is probably still largely secular. Countries that you have to worry about are the central Asian breakaway republics that used to be part of the Soviet Union. Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Chechnya, etc. These countries had Russian nuclear missile silos based in them back when they were under Soviet control. Now that that control is gone, these largely Islamic States might have access to nuclear weapons or at least nuclear weapon technologies. There may be individuals in those Regions, with access to the nukes, who are sympathetic to Islamic Extremism. And don't forget that Pakistan is a Nuclear power. While its government is friendly to the west, the much of the populace is not. Much Nuclear knowledge could be disseminated from there. Please don't think I'm trying censure whole regions because of the dominant religion in those areas. I know that the Islamic extremists do not represent the majority of Muslims in the world.

Why should one be worried? It's a world of free trade brought by globalization. One gets to choose what would be one's trading partners. What ever be the motives is irrelevant as long as the money comes in the chinese/ russian government's till and that no international trade rules have been violated.

Both China & Russia have permanent seats in the Security Council (SC), they can do what ever they want at tne end of the day. Bye bye US/UK monopoly of the SC at UN

I am not sure abour russia but I am sure that china will not be doing so because china is currently in it's industrial and technological revolution.

China is more focused on building skyscrapers and finding cures for the Avian Flu than building nukes.

Russia I honestly have no idea.
