Check out this website for your BMI (Body Mass Index): http://www.bariatricedge.com/dtcf/pages/bmi_calculator.htm?SOURCE=GOOG&KEYWORD=p .

You can input your information in the calculator, and it will tell you if you are in a healthy weight range. You can also move the little slider bars at the edge of the image to get your correct height and healthy weight range for your height.

You can also click on the Ideal Body Weight Chart in the upper right-hand corner and look up your ideal weight for your height.

According to the height you gave, your weight range should be between 144 to 176 pounds. The 32 pound variance is for muscle tone and how well your muscles are developed. Muscle weighs more than fat. This site has more information if you care to peruse. Good luck and hope this helps.

theres no universal standard for all 18 year old males. forget about your age and consider these factors instead: height? ethnic origins? bone frame structure? genetic factors? diet? health status? activity level?
