I am surprised to note that all people are asking for the head of the Coach for the poor performance of Indian Team and no one is blaming the players. If the players do not perform to their potential even if God comes as Coach of Indian Team, things will not change.
Do people demand for the head of Coach think that players like Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid need the coaching. If such players having vast experience in international cricket having played in all surfaces cannot bat through 20 or 30 overs, can their failure be attributed to the coach.
I strongly feel that the fault lies with the players for their non performance and they should be made accountable for their failure rather than blaming anybody else.

Dont you think that this is way over head?? What can Chappel do if the big three of Indian cricket (Read Sachin, Rahul & Sehwag)fail so consistently?What can Chappel do if they or Dhoni are more interested in modelling than playing for the nation? Or for that matter what authority he has against players who have egos as big as the ducks they score in international cricket? Chappel can only guide them & believe me he must have tried every trick in the book to get back the winning habit but the players too should make some efforts towards that. Look at the body language of the players during the ODI series, i looked like they knew they that they will lose 5-0 against SA. A coach cannot play on the ground he just can give them inputs, the players have to perform. Remember you can only guide the thirsty towards the well, not force him to drink water. ( Sidhuism) And Chappel was never removed as Australia's coach because he never was the coach of Australia & he was a legendary batsman hwo could have instilled a killer spirit in the team liike the Australians have. But we have a loser as a captain, i fondly recall the good old days of Ganguly's captaincy when he made S. Waugh wait for the toss..... Chappel can only be an asset , never a liability.

I think that Chappel should have been removed a long time ago. Now its really late to be considering this option. He is the worst coach in the history of bad coaches.
