No gun, you really need a nuclear missile silo under your front yard ... then you could start WW3 If anybody messes with you!
No guns are needed unless you cause the need by your actions.
That would be stupid, huh?
If that's the case then get a Glok automatic so you can take out a whole bunch at once.
If it's a burglar sneak up and hit him with a baseball bat ... no killing unless it is necessary.

Locks are good for home protection.... dogs are good .... so are security systems....... some people go on faith alone. A gun in the right hands would have to be the gun I would choose for home protection.

Most any name brand 38 special or 9mm pistols. You don't want any smaller caliber than that. As cruel as it may sound if you ever have to use the weapon to defend yourself and or wife and family, friends, etc. you want it to do the job.
